Lyme Bay boarders the SW counties of Dorset and Devon and sits neatly in the centre of the UNESCO World Heritage Coastline.
The famous ’sweeping’ arm of Chesil Beach running from Portland to the east, past the mighty ‘Golden Cap’, the highest point on the entire South Coast, past Lyme Regis towards the pretty coastal town of Beer, around the coast towards Torbay and finishing at Start Point in the west .

The seaside resort of Weymouth with it’s large marina, only 30 minutes from West Bay, offers the sheltered waters of either Weymouth Bay or Portland Harbour, the home of the 2012 games sailing events as well as a host of other cruising options for RIB charter. Portland Bill with it’s lighthouse and the Pulpit Rock, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door are all within cruising range.
