The best and easiest parking is in the long stay car park just as you enter West Bay from Bridport.

West Bay Road Car Park – DT6 4EW

It’s then just a 4-6 minute walk to the harbour – look out for our flags.

PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR TRIP TIME so we can get you kitted up and ready for your departure time.

Late arrivals can’t be guaranteed a trip.

Our RIB is open to the elements, we go out in most weathers, including the rain.

Clothing must be worn underneath lifejackets for hygiene purposes, no naked bodies please!

Footwear isn’t essential – but no heels or muddy shoes please!

It’s always colder at sea, even in the summer jacket/jumper/hoodie is ideal for the longer trips.

A windproof/waterproof jacket is advised.

Our trips are not suitable for:

– Pregnant individuals

– Anyone with current or past conditions affecting the neck, back, spine, hips, knees, or similar areas

– Anyone with other medical conditions that could make them unsuitable as a passenger

Please note: Riding on a RIB involves exposure to force, shock, load, and compression, which may not be suitable/safe for everyone.

LBRC operate a strict no alcohol policy.  Any passengers thought to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to board the boat.

Please contact us if you have any questions regarding suitability to travel.

Minimum age for all trips is 5 years, with an adult, in flat calm seas.

Age limit may increase based on wind and wave conditions at the Skipper’s discretion.

Passengers are informed of this policy when booking.

The Skipper’s decision is final.

Children aged 5–11 are included in this policy to minimise risks of back, spinal, or shaking injuries.

A child is considered anyone 11 years or younger.

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

It is mandatory for all passengers to wear a lifejacket on board our RIB.

Crew will issue and fit all lifejacket.

Any person inflating their lifejacket outside of an emergency or instruction from the Skipper will be charged a £20 rearming fee per jacket.

Your skipper will deliver a full safety briefing before your trip departs.

Passengers must remain seated at all times during their experience.

We go to sea in most weathers, including the rain so bring your waterproofs!

It’s the wind that stops play for us.

You’ll be on an open boat, while our aim isn’t to get you wet, we can’t promise a completely dry ride.

Lockers under the seats are available for small backpacks.

Lockers are not guaranteed to be fully watertight.

We advise against bringing valuables onboard.

LBRC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Unfortunately, no animals are allowed on board the RIB—for their safety and yours.

No one has ever been sick.

The science is that the RIB moves too quickly for the inner ear to detect the motion.

The boat stops at points during the trip, but not for long.
